BROWARD COUNTY SCHOOL BASED HEALTH CENTERS

 

The North Broward Hospital District school-based community health centers provide medical care for pediatric and adult patients, including treatment of common injuries and illnesses, health screenings, school/college physicals, immunizations, obstetric/gynecological exams, family planning and counseling, dental care, health and nutritional counseling, social services/behavioral health, laboratory services, and follow-up evaluations. Affordable healthcare for the uninsured is provided, based on the ability to pay. Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, and managed care plans are also accepted. ˁ
