BIG BROTHERS/BIG SISTERS

Provides one to one, professionally supervised mentor relationships to children from ages 16-18 from at-risk homes to increase self-esteem, cultural awareness, and academic success.  Parents are required to complete application.  J

Provides a six-week workshop of personal development, academic success skills and career focus for girls 13-17 years old. This adolescent program focuses on building self-esteem, assessing interest and values, creating career and educational goals, and dealing with issues of psychosocial problems.  J

Provides a non-residential program for at risk girls, ages 8-18 years old. This voluntary program provides accredited educational instruction and counseling, for girls while building self esteem and goals for the future.  J
