For a child under age 18 to receive a library card, the child’s parent or guardian must sign the application and present a proper form of ID.

The Broward County Library System provides free library service to residents of Broward County through the system’s 33 locations and two bookmobiles. Library cards are available free of charge upon request with proof of Broward County residence.

Provides service for those that have concern for and serve exceptional students, such as autism, deafness, specific learning disabilities, etc. Material includes books, audiotapes, videotapes, computer software, kits and adaptive/assistive devices for preview and loan.
